Bracknell Choral Society is a long-established, friendly, non-auditioning choir of approximately 110 members. We perform a wide variety of music, with our repertoire ranging widely from Purcell to Bach, Handel, Mozart and Verdi through more modern composers Lauridsen and Whitacre to lighter music, for example 'Songs from the Shows' or Gilbert & Sullivan, giving both singers and audience an opportunity to experience a full rang
e of music.
We strive to deliver quality concerts in and around the Bracknell area, usually 4 concerts a year. Our summer concert is always lighter, with our autumn and spring concerts more likely to be major classical choral works. We also hold a Family Carol Concert at Christmastime.
We are enthusiastically led by our two professional musicians, Musical Director Greg Hallam and Accompanist Nick Austin.
The professional soloists and musicians who perform with us at our concerts enhance our performances and add to our enjoyment of our audiences.
