We Really Do Need Support

The Society gives concerts to the highest professional standards and therefore pays fees to the Musical Director, Accompanist, Soloists and Orchestra. We are limited in our choice of music and accompaniment by the costs of quality soloists and orchestral players.

The high standard we achieve greatly benefits the cultural life of the area, thanks to the members of the Society, whose subscriptions help to subsidise our performances.

As we are a registered charity any sponsorship we receive from companies can receive tax relief on the full amount of the donation.

How?

Each major concert costs the Society an average of £2000 and we would very much welcome major sponsorship for a whole concert. However we recognise that smaller contributions would be more appropriate for many companies. All sponsors receive advance information of all events and copies of all publications.
