Bracknell Choral Society was formed in 1960 with a membership of fourteen and now has about 130 singing members.
We perform three major concerts each season, with professional soloists and orchestral players. Our repertoire spans more than 400 years, and includes rarely-heard work, as well as more familiar ones.
There is also an active social programme for members, supporters and friends.
New singers are always welcome to join us, particularly tenors and 1 st sopranos, and are invited to attend two rehearsals before committing themselves to membership.
Non-singers are invited to support the Society by offering help on concert days.
Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm during school term time at:
Newbold College Church
They are led by our Musical Director, Greg Hallam, ably assisted by our expert piano accompanist, Nick Austin both professional musicians.
Bracknell Choral Society is a registered charity (No 282753) and welcomes all offers of sponsorship and financial assistance.
